Abstract:


    The goal of VirtualRome project is to provide a web-based infrastructure for distribution, collection, annotation and sharing over the web of 3D interactive content such as actual and reconstructed landscape. The data come from various sources such as laser scanners and laser total station of monuments, virtual reconstructions at different scales, GIS and remote sensing data: from landscape to building and artifacts, all pertaining the Rome area.
