Abstract:
We propose a smartphone-based wide field-of-view HMD using inexpensive mirrors and lenticular lenses. Lenticular lenses on both display edges create multi-view images, which are then redirected by strategically placed mirrors to expand the peripheral field of view, effectively enlarging the display area without increasing the screen size.
