    The booming video game industry is currently making a dramatic move from modest, low-end production techniques lo state-of-the-art computer animation frontiers such as 3D character animation, Video games are driving the development of new animation techniques like motion capture and adapting cinematic production techniques as Hollywood and Silicon Valley merge, Through presentations and demonstrations by the midwives of these dramatic developments, animators, producers, and directors gain practical insights about the special demands of video game animation and how new production techniques are being developed and adapted,
