Abstract:
The earth appears as a backdrop in a huge number of shots in the film “Gravity”. Framestore produced a high-resolution, photorealistic, three-dimensional representation of the earth’s surface, clouds, and atmosphere. This talk steps through the pipeline and processes used to achieve this.
