SIGGRAPH Asia 2019: Art Gallery, Talks & Papers

Conference:

Overview:

SIGGRAPH Asia 2019 Art Gallery will showcase your works in two parts:

Deep Dreaming (histories): a curated show of media artists, pioneers from the art/sciences that have wrought new visions of art through algorithmic methods.

Deep Dreaming (futures): a call for art work submissions that address Deep Dreaming, (re)imagining the future technology-based artistic practices.

Art Papers showcases research that addresses Deep Dreaming from philosophical, theoretical, and ethical perspectives. Art Papers are presented in the following format:

Long Papers: dedicated to describing concepts, processes, and applicability of advances in science, computer graphics, and interactive techniques.

Short Papers: dedicated to discussing on-going works and visions.

Both Long and Short Papers receive a rigorous and thoughtful review by at least three members of the International Jury, which is composed of renowned scholars, artists, and scientists.

Art Gallery Talks: investigate the roles of artists and the methods of art-making in an increasingly global, networked, and technologically mediated world. Presenters present their Art Works in 30-minute sessions. The talks highlight theoretical issues concerning contemporary art in our global society.
