Title:

    Ultrasonic Embossment of Acrylic Sheets with Transparency Control

Organizer(s)/Presenter(s):

Description:

    We introduce a new processing technology for acrylic sheets using high-intensity focused ultrasound (HIFU). HIFU can create bumps and depressions on the surface of acrylic, which can be controlled by adjusting various parameters. This technology has potential applications in embossing, etching, and braille generation, offering high-precision processing for acrylic plates.
