    The University of Lowell exhibits software and hardware in the areas of: image processing (Image Kernel System, Optical Character Recognition); computer graphics (TIGA, X Window System); joint university/industry technology developments; user interface tools (OSF/ MOTIF); multimedia environments and applications; and visualization.

    The University of Lowell is exhibiting software and hardware in the areas of: image processing (Imaging Kernel System, Optical Character Recognition); computer graphics (GKS, X Window System); joint university/industry technology developments; user interface tools (OSF/MOTIF); multimedia environments and applications; and visualization (Exvis).

    SIGGRAPH 1989

    Edge-of-the-art tools for visualization, created as products of active research are displayed. These include high-resolution, high-performance graphics and imaging hardware, the Imaging Kernal System (IKS), GKS under X11 and imaging, a laser light show and other computer art.

    SIGGRAPH 1988

    Graphics products and projects to be displayed include GKS (level 2B), CGI, CGM and software for the visualization of scientific data (running under the X-window system). Imaging products and projects include the Imaging Kernal System (IKS), the ImPP high-performance coprocessor, a high-resolution graphics adapter, and image synthesis software.

    SIGGRAPH 1987

    The University of Lowell will demonstrate its portable software (GKS, IKS), their experimental high-performance Image Processing hardware, their CGI Benchmark Software and their work in Windows.
