Nikon Storage Products will exhibit and demonstrate our newly developed 12-inch Magneto Optical Disk Drive (DD121 – 1 AS) & Disk (D12-CA2). Large capacity: 8GB/Platter; high-speed access: 73msec. (1/3 stroke); high data transfer: 2.07MB/sec.

Nikon Electronic Imaging provides a variety of products used in the computer graphics market, including LS-3500 Film Scanner, CP-3000 Full Color Printer and HQ-1500C HDTV Still Camera System. These are supported for IBM, Macintosh and some UNIX workstations.
SIGGRAPH 1989
Nikon’s LS-3500 35mm film scanner produces high-resolution (6144×4096 pixels) images of color, black and white, positive, or negative film originals. Fully automated scanning or an extensive manual command set are available for image manipulation, including color separations. Software is available for MS-DOS and Macintosh operation systems. Nikon’s full-color printer produces vivid, finegrained images with exceptional tonal quality at 1280×1024 pixel resolution through its thermal dye transfer process. Interfaces include GPIB, SCSI, and RGB analog.
