    SIGGRAPH 1992

    Motorola features the DSP96002, IEEE-754 compliant floating-point digital signal processor with a high throughput dual bus I/O structure, special graphics-oriented instructions, and On-Chip Emulation (OnCE). Motorola also features the 24-bit fixed-point DSP56001 and DSP 56002 DSP chips, plus its new DSP56401, AES/EBU transceiver.

    Motorola features the 40 MHz (60 Mflops peak performance) DSP96002 Media Engine processor which is an IEEE-754 compliant floating point digital signal processor with a high throughput dual bus I/O structure, special graphics-oriented instructions, and On-Chip Emulation Circuitry (OnCE) that combine to make it well suited for rapid development of multimedia applications.

    SIGGRAPH 1987

    Motorola Display Systems will feature both high-and very high-resolution CRT monitors designed for workstation and desktop publication applications. The Lambda II series will resolve 120 dots per inch (1600x1280x16) for 19″ and 17″ portrait or landscape configurations. Both color and monochrome monitors will be displayed.
