Agfa is the imaging division of Miles, Inc. Agfa’s Electronic Desktop Solutions group was formed in 1993 to develop and cultivate channels of distribution via value-added resellers, and computer resellers. The products on display at SIGGRAPH 94 include Agfa’s full line of scanners, film recorders, and color management software.

Headquartered in Ridgefield Park, New Jersey, Agfa Graphic Systems manufactures and markets electronic and photographic prepress systems, desktop systems, type and font products, phototype-setting materials, and presentation graphics systems for the graphic arts and publishing industries.

AGFA’S Business Imaging Systems group designs, manufactures, and markets a full line of film recorder products for the presentation graphics, prepress, photographic retouch, and cine markets. The product line includes the ProColor Premier entry-level film recorder, the new PCRII mid-range professional model, and the Forte high-performance professional model.
