Omnicomp Graphics Corporation manufactures and markets high performance, high resolution color graphics display subsystems used in CAD/CAM, process control, geoseismic, biomedical, artificial intelligence and simulation. Omnicomp will be introducing the OMNI 2000 GDS, a modular family of high end graphics display subsystems. Additionally, Omnicomp will exhibit the OMNI 1000 GDC, a GKS compatible, 1024 x 1024 x 8 resolution graphics display controller and complimentary software libraries and specialized hardware interface products. Omnicomp markets its products to OEM’s, systems integrators and sophisticated end users.

OMNI 1000 GDC, a high performance, BUS independent, single board Graphics Display Controller. Display resolution is 1024 x 1024 x 8 planes, thus allowng simultaneous display for 256 colors from a palette of 4096. On board processors are the Intel 8086, 8087, 8089 and 7220 Graphics Processor. Memory is made up of 1024 KB Dsplay Video RAM, 256 KB of List and Image Processing RAM, and 64 KB of EPROM for program storage. Firmware is GKS compatible. Controller currently interlaces to O-Bus, Multibus, and BM PC and compatbles.
