    PDI/DreamWorks, owned by DreamWorks Animation, is an animation affiliate of DreamWorks SKG, producing full-length, computer-animated feature films.

    SIGGRAPH 2003

    PDI/DreamWorks, owned by DreamWorks Animation, produces animated feature films, including the Academy award-winning “Shrek,” “Spirit: Stallion of the Cimarron,” and this summer’s “Sinbad: Legend of the Seven Seas.”

Next up is “SHREK,” to be followed by “TUSKER.” PDI also boasts a fullservice commercials and feature effects division.

    DreamWorks SKG was formed in October 1994 by its three principal partners: Steven Spielberg, Jeffrey Katzenberg, and David Geffen. It is the first new film studio to be formed in more than 50 years. DreamWorks Animation currently is working on movies including “Antz,” “The Prince of Egypt,” “El Dorado,” Spirit,” and “Shrek.”

    DreamWorks SKG was formed in October, 1994, by its three principal partners (Steven Spielberg, Jeffrey Katzenberg, and David Geffen) as a single company to produce live-action motion pictures; animated feature films and television programs; network, syndicated, and cable television programming; records; books; toys; consumer products; and interactive entertainment. The company is a unique and original enterprise, conceived and designed from the point of view of the artists who work there, to encourage and nurture creative breakthroughs in every field in entertainment.

    Along with “Prince of Egypt” and “El Dorado,” DreamWorks is preparing two computer-animated, featurelength projects.”Shrek” is a comedy about the search for true love, and “Ants,” made in conjunction with PDI, is a comedy-adventure about a misfit insect who learns that one ant can make a difference.

    SIGGRAPH 1995

    In alliance with Silicon Graphics, DreamWorks is currently developing a revolutionary digital system for creating and managing creative content. The system will be used initially for DreamWorks’ first animated feature, The Prince of Egypt, and later in aspects of live- action feature films, television, interactive media, and music.
