SIGGRAPH Asia 2019

Ryu Nakagawa, is an artist, an associate professor at Graduate School of Design and Architecture, Nagoya City University, and leads Art and Media Experience Lab (NakagawaLab). He has received Ph.D. from Tokyo University of the Arts. He had been a lecturer at Musashino Art University (2010-2014), a research assistant at JST-ERATO Okanoya Emotional Information Project (2012-2014), a researcher at Department of Intermedia Art at Tokyo University of the Arts (2012-2014). He is taking a constructive approach to explore new artistic acts, such as art expression or art appreciation, with XR (extended reality, cross reality) that changes reality and society.
