SIGGRAPH 2025
Zheng Wei is an interdisciplinary Ph.D. candidate at The Hong Kong University of Science and Technology whose research bridges virtual‑reality perception, social computing, and data visualization. His first‑author papers appear in IEEE VR, IEEE VIS, ACM Multimedia, and IJHCI. He built MetaShadow, MetaEcho, and MetaCrew—VR platforms that translate professional film lighting, sound recording, and multi‑role production training into immersive classrooms. He aims to fuse emerging technologies with cinematic storytelling, advancing creative practice and interactive learning. He also mentors students in VR prototyping and holds industry filmmaking experience.
