SIGGRAPH 2025

Yuan Zhang is a visual artist and transmedia storyteller. She is a researcher and project leader at the Tsinghua Institute of Visual Studies and the Institute for Creative New Media & Performing Arts. Her research interests lie in the Immersive New Media Art Space Experience Research in the Field of Cultural Heritage. She supported by project funding from the Global Innovation Center for Children (TUGICC), co-founded by Tsinghua University and UNICEF. She has also been selected to participate in the IRCAM Forum Workshops, Paris, France, the 15th Zhejiang Fine Arts Exhibition, the 6th Art and Science International Exhibition & Symposium, Beijing, China. Her works Include the Ancient Architecture Segment “Pillars of Eternity” from the 2025 Spring Festival Gala, and the Capital Museum’s “Celestial Canopy: Immersive Digital Art Experience of Caisson Ceiling”, the “Winter Paralympics Waltz” of the opening ceremony of the Winter Paralympic Games, the stage installation design of “Butterfly Lovers” at the cultural performance of the G20 National Summit, the primary visual design of the float of the 2019 World Garden Festival, etc.
