SIGGRAPH 2025
Tymon started as a modelling artist in 2009 but always dabbled in writing tools to make his life easier. Eventually he realized that engineering was his true passion so he turned to the dark side and became a software engineer. In 2013 he got his dream job at Wētā FX working in the Lookdev department where he modernized their pipelines, integrated Katana, and eventually transitioned them to USD. Now he works in the Core Engineering department where he maintains Wētā’s OpenUSD fork and is helping to push USD adoption to the rest of the facility.
