Tim Hawker is Tech Supervisor of Motion Pipe, Creatures Pipe and Puppets teams, and has over 15 years of VFX experience. He constructs project architectural designs, ensuring smooth data flow between domains. His aim is to unblock and guide developers, collaborate with leads, and provide technical expertise to help deliver big-impact projects to the studio. During his time at Wētā FX, Tim has delivered major enhancements to the procedural simulation pipeline, improved workflow efficiency, and ensured horizontal scaling was possible for huge shows like Avatar: The Way of the Water, War for the Planet of the Apes, and many others.
