Bio:
Sarah Rasines is a sound and visual artist who completed Postgraduate studies in Sonic Art, and Creación Sonor at the Universitat de Barcelona (2018), after being awarded a Master degree in Performing Arts and Sciences / Cultural Management from the Facultad de Ciencias Sociales y de la Comunicación de Leioa, Universidad del País Vasco (2014-2015). Combining artistic creation with research at the Faculty of Fine Arts of the University of the Basque Country, Rasines is an active part of the Ikersoinu Research Group (Sound Research and Artistic Space). The field of work is intermediate, related to temporal processes and experimental means. In addition, she is a cultural manager for the University of the Basque Country, working for the Caja de Burgos Foundation in its annual cultural program; and she has directed the Culturapia program, in hospitals and the Burgos prison, organized by the same entity and La Caixa. Currently, she works as a cultural manager in the city of Burgos in the field of different projects that fascinate her. It is part of the Association of Professionals of Cultural Management of Castilla y León GesculCyl.
