Rahul Vasanth is a Visiting Scholar at UIUC advised by David Forsyth; he recently completed his Masters in CS. He TAed one of the only AV courses in the world using an actual car – not sim – with a perfect safety record while doing Computer Vision research with Prof. Forsyth. Rahul is interested in multimodal approaches and neural rendering, particularly how generative models can be designed to enhance human creativity. Before this, he completed a four-year term as a Library Commissioner and has a proven track record advocating for children with developmental disabilities at the local level.
