Lindsay is a Research Fellow at the University of New South Wales’ Expanded Perception and Interaction Centre (EPICentre) as well as an Associate Lecturer at the University of Tasmania (UTAS). His research interests include eXplainable AI (XAI), reinforcement learning, serious games, and human computer interaction. Recent work has looked at how reinforcement learning techniques can be applied to wargaming and defense scenarios and teaching in the areas of mobile and ubiquitous computing, and video game development.
