Kevin Laibson is a director, producer, and educator researching emerging technology in performance. As Senior Experience Director at Agile Lens, he develops XR tools for theater, including virtual rehearsal systems and motion capture workflows. He has presented work at SIGGRAPH, SXSW, IEEE-GEM, and Worlds in Play. His current projects include research on directing non-human, AI actors and a collaborative fellowship with the Royal Shakespeare Company and CSSD on digital performance tools. He specializes in bridging live and digital performance, focusing on practical applications of immersive technology in storytelling and theatrical production.
