Bio

SIGGRAPH 2025

Evan Boucher is a character rigger and animator with 14 years of experience in the animation industry. Born in Böblingen, Germany, he considers himself from the suburbs of Philadelphia. He graduated from Drexel University with a BS/MS in Digital Media before starting at DreamWorks Animation. Evan is fascinated by zoology, and extensively draws upon that expertise to help bring creatures to life. He is an award winning paleoartist, and a docent at the Natural History Museum of Los Angeles County. His credits include “The Wild Robot,” “The Croods: A New Age,” and “How to Train Your Dragon: The Hidden World.
