Dr. Eric A. Jensen is The Brinson Foundation Civic Science Fellow at the Advanced Visualization Lab. Specializing in evidence-based science communication (sciencecomm.science), Jensen has worked for 20+ years in science communication research, evaluation and practice. He has been a science communication consultant and trainer for many global institutions, including MSRI, University of Cambridge, University of Oxford, Natural History Museum (London), the European Space Agency, CERN, Science Foundation Ireland and UNESCO. Jensen’s track record includes 130+ papers/reports/books, including in Nature, PNAS and PLOSONE. His most recently published book is Science Communication: An Introduction. His PhD is in sociology (University of Cambridge).
