Dr. David Yip has more than 20 years of university teaching experience in creative digital media. He is currently an assistant professor in Computational Media and Art at HKUST (GZ) and the director of CMA Lab. David has published several book chapters on interactive media in Springer. His and his students? papers have been published in ACM CHI, IEEE AIART, IEEE ICET, IEEE VIS, VINCI, AHFE, and other conferences. David?s research team CAT (Creative Art Tech) focuses on content, emotion and experience creation with emerging art technology by integrating humanities, art of storytelling, aesthetics and design thinking in project-led research.
