    David Sibrina is a Lead Researcher and Developer for Surgical Planning in Virtual and Augmented Reality at the Institute for Clinical and Experimental Medicine. He is also a Ph.D. student at Durham University. He holds an MSc in Computational Medicine from the University of Sheffield. His primary focus is on the research and clinical implementation of surgical planning/guidance using VR/AR in liver surgery, transplant, and orthopaedic surgery. David is a recipient of the David Evans Memorial Prize for Innovation and was ranked in Forbes’ Top 30 Under 30 in 2023 for his impact on surgical planning.
