As a Senior Lookdev Artist at Image Engine, Christoph Hennig specializes in crafting photorealistic textures, shaders, and lighting for film and episodic content. Since moving to Vancouver in 2022, he has contributed to the look development of hero characters, environments, vehicles, FX assets, and grooms across a range of Image Engine’s high-profile projects. Christoph’s recent credits include The Gorge, Dune: Prophecy, Skeleton Crew, Snowpiercer, Halo Season 2, Avatar: The Last Airbender, Lift, Foundation Season 2, The Mandalorian, The School for Good and Evil, Obi-Wan Kenobi, and Moon Knight. With over 15 years of experience in VFX, commercials, and product and architectural visualization, Christoph brings a versatile skillset spanning modeling, texturing, lookdev, lighting, and rendering. He also brings scripting expertise to streamline workflows and has professional experience in compositing. Originally from Germany, Christoph began his career in 2008 in Hamburg, working as a freelance 3D artist for many years for clients including Mackevision, DFP DOCK11, Scholz & Friends, Automatik VFX, and Virgin Lands. He studied at SAE Institute Hamburg and holds a diploma in Digital Film and Animation.
