Cecilia Berriz joined Walt Disney Animation Studios in 2023 as a technical director, supporting the crowds, environments and lighting departments. She graduated from Brown University in 2017 with a master’s degree in computer science and a focus on graphics and 3D animation. She later joined the software and rendering teams at Moving Picture Company in Vancouver and L’Atelier Animation in Montréal. Throughout her career, Berriz has worked on projects like “Pokémon: Detective Pikachu”, “Maleficent: Mistress of Evil”, “Fireheart” and “Moana 2”.
