Catarina Moreira is a Lead Research Scientist with the Human Technology Institute (HTI), University of Technology Sydney. Her research focuses on investigating human-centered deep learning architectures for medical decision-making and on human interactive probabilistic models to promote fair, explainable, and trustworthy AI models in radiology. Although Catarina is an early career researcher, she already has more than 45 research publications with 1286+ citations. Throughout her career, she has won several awards, including a Women in Technology Award, and Excellence in Publication Award.
