Alexandre Sirois-Vigneux is a Senior 3D Software Developer at SideFX, specializing in physics-based simulation and procedural workflows for visual effects. He holds an M.Sc. in Computer Graphics and Machine Learning from McGill University and Mila and is the main developer behind the new MPM solver in Houdini. Before transitioning to software development, Alexandre spent nearly a decade in the visual effects industry as a Senior FX TD and Tool Developer at major studios such as Digital Domain, Method Studios, and Industrial Light & Magic.
