Abstract:

“Cartoony Character Setup” provides an overview of the philosophical concerns and technical challenges relevant to the configuration of cartoony 3D characters. Considerations for supporting a wide spectrum of performance ranging from broad physicality to subtle acting are examined within the context of 3D character setup on the animated feature film “Chicken Little”.
