Abstract:
In this course I’ll be covering pattern generation specifically: how to vary an object’s characteristics over its surface or from one object to another. To do that, we need access to variables and coordinate systems that are defined on those surfaces or within the scene. Then I’ll cover how OSL shaders are executed by the renderers and how that may impact the results you get.
