Polymorph, A Minimal Input Procedural Modeling Tool for Rapid Prototyping of Stop Motion Puppets at LAIKA

Session/Category Title:   Stop Motion, Go Car!

Abstract:

Polymorph is a minimal input voxel-poly toolset for interactive creation of stop motion puppet head and neck assemblies. It’s a Houdini-based toolset which generates complex procedural 3D print-ready geometry for replacement facial animation. Spatial constraints are dynamically solved, and geometry produced supports silicone molding and casting, vacuum forming, and more!
