Abstract:


    This course shows how to identify the artistic requirements for a film production, how they drive the technical plan, how that drives the schedule and logistics, and finally how all of that drives the casting and deployment of resources.

    Each stage is illustrated with specific examples from three recent Pixar short films (all are Oscar nominees): “Boundin”, “One Man Band”, and “Lifted”.
