Abstract:

This work presents a gloss-aware color correction method for 3D printing. Our correction accounts for shifts in perceived color due to the different gloss properties of an object. To formulate the correction, we conduct novel perceptual experiments and propose an optimization procedure solved using differentiable rendering.
