Abstract:
Interfaces with additional tactile sensation and force feedback enable us to perform pointing, manipulating, and navigating operations easily compared with conventional interfaces. The display devices using pin array and manipulation arms are the most common way of displaying tactile sensation and force feedback. The arms and wires restrict the user’s movement and reachable area, and are not convenient for mobile use.
