Cut&Paste is bringing the CHARACTERIZED Tour to SIGGRAPH 2013 and hosting two different competitions, both driven by the theme of “Alter Ego”. First, all attendees can participate in “PLAY DATE”! Visit the Cut&Paste area in the Studio on Monday and Tuesday, 22-23 July, to create your own Alter Ego character in a 10-minute sketching round using an HP Z1 workstation. This is your chance to win a Wacom Inkling and have your artwork displayed onstage during our live CHARACTERIZED event on Tuesday. The audience picks a winning sketch from this offstage round. Then, stick around for PIXEL PLAYOFF, a fast design throwdown directly following RealTimeLive!. Three teams of two designers each will compete in a final round of design to complete a character live onstage.
