    SIGGRAPH 1985

Ridge Computers manufactures a full line of 32-bit supermini-computers. All have a Reduced Instruction Set Computer (RISC) architecture and a UNIX* System V/Berkeley 4.2-based Ridge Operating System (ROS). ROS is designed for scientific, engineering and graphics applications. *UNIX is a trademark of Bell Labs.

    SIGGRAPH 1984

The Ridge 32 product family is a line of full 32-bit, high performance superminicomputers. All have a Reduced Instruction Set Computer (RISC) architecture and a UNIX System V/Berkeley 4.2-based Ridge Operating System (ROS). ROS is specifically designed for scientific, engineering and graphics applications and supports C, Pascal, Fortran 77, Mainsail and assembler languages. (UNIX is a trademark of Bell Laboratories, Mainsail is a trademark of Xidak, Inc.)

    SIGGRAPH 1983

Ridge ThirtyTwo is a 32-bit high-performance computer for CAD, scientific and engineering applications, consisting of a CPU containing an instruction fetch unit (with branch prediction and an instruction cache) and an execution unit (with 32-bit ALU and 32-bit barrel shifter), a 60M byte Winchester disc, 1 M byte to 8M byte main memory and a double density floppy disc. The system also provides up to four 1000 X 800 pixel graphics displays, Pascal, C and FORTRAN compilers and Ridge assembler. A mass storage companion unit is also available consisting of any combination of the following: an 800/1600 BPI, 1/2″ stop-start/streaming tape drive, up to two 430MB formatted disc drives and power control module.
