    SIGGRAPH 1985

    RCI will introduce a new Real Time Disk (RTD) and an interface (LFI) to 3M’s Laser Image film recorder for its Trap ix 5500 Image Processors. Both are digital devices. Based on Fujitsu’s Eagle technology, the RTD can store and replay nearly 2 minutes of live or processed images while the film recorder can produce hard copy with up to 4K x 4K x 8-Bit resolution.

    Recognition Concepts, Inc. manufactures a family of image processing systems featuring image memory capacity to 16 mbytes, image processing via pipeline or pixel operations, and a complete line of image digitizers which support video or non-video standard input such as CCD area or line scan arrays. The Trapix 5500 may be configured as a turnkey system featuring RTIPS (Real Time Image Processing Software) for stand alone image acquisition, enhancement, and analysis.

    Recognition Concepts is a manufacturer of realtime image processing systems featuring single or multi-channel image display resolutions from 512 X 512 to 1024 X 1024 X 16-bits and features real-time acquisition to 8- or 10-bits and up to 1024 X 1024 resolution.
