    See demonstration of FireMAX and DV- Max, video editing systems for Macintosh which encode/decode at 30 fps, allowing real-time 24-bit accurate color. Also solutions from Media 100, Sony, Apple, ATTO, Adaptec, Seagate, Adobe, Boris, SpiceRack, DigiEffects, and others. ProMax develops data storage systems especially suited for digital video from 4 to 144 GB.

    ProMax Technology is a leading developer of high-performance data storage systems that have been optimized for digital video, pre-press, and graphic design. Systems are compatible with Power Macintosh and Windows. Capacities range from 2 GB to 144 GB in desktop or rack-mount- able cabinets. ProMax was the first to develop disk arrays using Iomega’s cost-effective, removable-cartridge Jaz drive. In addition to video storage systems, ProMax ships fully configured non-linear digital video editing systems using solutions from Truevision, Miro, Fast, Data Translation, and Radius.

    ProMax Technology demonstrates their new 4 GB high-performance removable cartridge SCSI-2 video disk array that employs the Iomega Jaz drives. Also featured is a family of Wide SCSI-2 disk arrays compatible with Power Macintosh computers with storage capacity from 4 GB to 54 GB. The arrays are designed for digital video applications and deliver uninterrupted data at rates suitable for high-quality non-linear editing.
