Presentation Products serves maPRIOR Data Sciences presents: GPHIGS, which conforms to the ISO PHIGS standard—a 3D Interactive Graphics Toolkit for the creation of applications in fields such as robotics, modeling, simulation, and schematic. PRIOR GKS, which conforms to the ISO GKS standard—a high-level 2D graphics development toolkit for applications such as command and control, computer-aided design and drafting, presenta- tion graphics, and mapping.

PRIOR Data Sciences, known for its software products and real-time systems, offers a level 2C implementation of GKS. PRIOR’S GKS/C is available on UNIX, VMS, and DOS operating systems, with C, FORTRAN and Ada callable libraries meeting the ANSI/ISO binding. Also offered is InterMAPhics, an interactive mapping and graphics presentation system.

PRIOR Data Sciences will feature InterMAPhics and GKS/C. InterMAPhics is an interactive mapping and graphics presentation system for applications including command and control, air traffic control, vessel traffic management and weather presentation. GKS/C is a full implementation of the ANSI/ISO Graphic Kernel System (GKS) standard. Device drivers for PC-DOS, UNIX and VMS environments are available, plus FORTRAN and ANSI ’C’ bindings.

PRIOR Data Sciences’ PRIOR GKS/C is a level 2c implementation of the GKS standard, available in “C”, Fortran and Ada languages for UNIX, VMS and DOS operating systems. Another product, INTERMAPHICS, is an interactive mapping and graphics presentation system based on PRIOR GKS/C, operating on a UNIXbased graphic workstation.

PRIOR employs 75 real-time graphics/ software people and offers GKS/C, a “C” version of GKS for all UNIX and UNIX-like systems as well as VAX/VMS at level 2C. A level 2B Version is available for the PC under DOS.
