This product will be capable of doing very high resolution color graphics and near letter-quality text. A.C.T is emphasizing the capability to produce photographic quality hard copy both in reflective and transparency format.

    SIGGRAPH 1985

Polaroid’s several significant roles in visual communications are exemplified in an exhibit incorporating an inexpensive color film recorder and direct screen camera system for instant photography hardcopy, contrast enhancement filters for VDT screens, flexible magnetic diskettes and a diskette duplication service. Centerpiece is Polaroid’s Palette computer image recorder for instant 35mm slides, overhead transparencies or full-color prints of personal computer images.

    SIGGRAPH 1984

Polaroid is a worldwide supplier of instant imaging systems for high quality photographic hardcopy, in formats from 35mm to 8 x 10 inches, in color or black-and-white, as slides, prints or overhead transparencies, from video, computer and CRT sources. The company is demonstrating the versatility of its inexpensive Palette computer image recorder, using popular presentation graphics packages to produce enhanced-resolution 35mm instant color slides and reference prints of images from IBM-PC, Apple II and Digital’s Rainbow microcomputers. The exhibit also includes demonstrations of Polaroid’s VideoPrinter Model 8, a display-driven digital color film recorder for 8 x 10 inch hardcopy

    SIGGRAPH 1983

The Polaroid/VideoPrinter and Palette color film recorders yield instant and rapid-access full- color hard copy photographic prints and transparencies in formats from 35mm to 8 X 10 inches from computer graphics systems and video sources. The display-driven VideoPrinter 8 digitizes computer-sourced RGB signals for presentation quality 8X10 prints and overhead transparencies. The new interactive Palette computer image recorder, compatible with IBM PC, Compag, Apple lie and Apple II Plus computers, associates with “Graphwriter” and “Chartmaster” software graphics packages to provide 35mm graphics slides in minutes using the new Polaroid 35mm Autoprocess system.

    SIGGRAPH 1979
