SIGGRAPH ’90 is the first public showing of Video Windows-Hi Res. This product (VME board or separate chassis) works with 1280 x 1024 resolution workstations and displays full-motion, digitized video in a window. Real-time video functions include scaling, zooming, flipping, fading, graphic and text overlays, and color adjustment. It offers near HDTV resolution for multimedia.
SIGGRAPH 1986
New Media Graphics Corp, will introduce the GraFlex 32-bit co-computer that upgrades the IBM PC AT to rival the most powerful CAD/CAM/CAE workstations. The GraFlex uses 68020, 68881, 63484 and VRAMS, takes three slots in AT, and is MSDOS and/or UNIX supported.
SIGGRAPH 1984
New Media Graphics manufactures a line of computer graphics display peripherals that create and merge graphics with video pictures coming from videodisc, videotape or TV camera. The combined pictures are output in either RGB or NTSC. These products are compatible with any standard computer via RS232C or parallel interface. Graphics input devices available include lightpen, graphics tablet, touch screen, and joystick.
