    The International Interactive Communications Society (IICS), formed in 1983, is an association of communication industry professionals dedicated to the advancement of interactive multimedia technologies. The Society provides a forum for users and vendors to share ideas, applications, and techniques for effective use of interactive media. The organization has over 50 chapters or organizing groups in the United States, Europe, Australia, and JP.
