Gould image processors range from the economical FD5000 and top-of-the-line IP8000 for standard resolution processing to the newest high-resolution IP9000 introduced June 1986. Gould image processors interface with most popular mini/microcomputers.
SIGGRAPH 1985
On display: high speed image processing equipment including: IPBS00 multiuser system with Graphics Processor, Hardware Warper, Real Time Digital Disk, Digital Video Processor, Hardware Histogrammer and High Resolution Display. Also, FDS000 stand-alone image processing system with software which includes: Image Processing Software, ERDAS classification software and driver for DI3000 Graphics.
SIGGRAPH 1984
Gould Inc , Imaging and Graphics Division, formerly DeAnza Systems, will show the Real-Time Digital Disk accepting live RS- 170 inputs, then outputting the sequences at 5122 or 10242 with a variety of readback formats. We will also show LIPS and LIPS Plus software for remote sensing on the IP8500, 10242 Image Processing Software, and FD5000 LIPS for low budget image processing. Additional new hardware will include our Auxiliary Graphics Processor and may include our Hardware Warper.
SIGGRAPH 1983
Gould DeAnza will display their new, low cost Image Processing System, the FD 5000. It features four to 16 banks of 512 X 512 X 8-bit memory, digitizer, feedback processor, and optional integral LSI-11 computer system. Gould DeAnza will also show their upgraded LIPS software capabilities, featuring hardware based FFT capability and improved statistics capability. New hardware for their IP 8500 series will include a sophisticated graphics command processor, the AGP, with LIPS compatibility, high level interface modes, and full modularity. Descriptive literature will also be provided on DeAnza’s Real Time Disk.
SIGGRAPH 1979
Gould will feature at its booth the Gould 5000 Series Electrostatic Printer/Plotters, from 11 ” to 36″ wide paper; resolution to 200 dots/inch; UL 478 listed. Also, graphic display terminals; remote graphic processor; and vector information processor.
