    SIGGRAPH 1989

Cubicomp is showing new enhancements to its 3D video animation systems—PictureMaker, and Vertigo Series 9.

    SIGGRAPH 1988

Cubicomp will be showing its PictureMaker and Vertigo animation systems featuring the PictureMaker 60/R with full modeling and animation capabilities using its RACE render accelerator, as well as the Vertigo V2000 workstation-based system which provides the power to support highly sophisticated imagery with complex animation sequences. New features and enhancements will be demonstrated.

    SIGGRAPH 1987

Cubicomp will be showing enhanced capabilities to PICTUREMAKER/30 and PICTUREMAKER/20. These 3-D graphics systems are designed to meet the needs of the corporate communications and training markets, as well as traditional broadcast.

    SIGGRAPH 1986

Cubicomp will demonstrate the latest version of the Picturemaker™ System, incorporating new rendering, paint and animation capabilities. Picturemaker™ is a high-performance video animation system that generates professional quality 3-D images on an IBM Personal Computer. The system allows the creation of solid models of virtually any shape, using more than 65,000 colors as well as 3-D titles, logos and computer generated story boards.

    SIGGRAPH 1985

Cubicomp will demonstrate the PictureMaker 3D Video animation system, a comprehensive computer graphics system designed for video production. Titles, logos and 3D objects of any sort can be generated quickly and inexpensively using PictureMaker, then realistically displayed as shaded surface images and animated. Story boards can be printed out, 2D backgrounds painted and complex multi-object sequences composed and shot automatically.

    SIGGRAPH 1984

Cubicomp manufactures the CS-5 Solid Modeling System, a hardware/software subsystem which runs on the IBM Personal Computer. The CS-5 allows operators to easily create and manipulate three-dimensional models. System resolution is 512 x 512 by 16 bits per pixel. 4096 colors can be displayed simultaneously from a palette of 16.8 million. Sophisticated, menu-driven software includes such features as anti-aliasing, smooth shading, rotation, translation, and zoom capabilities.

    SIGGRAPH 1983

The CS-5 Graphics System is a complete, general purpose 3-D solid modelling system featuring powerful interactive software or optional access from high level language programs. The raster display resolution is 512 X 512 X 16-bits per pixel with two separate image planes, creating a megabyte of graphics memory. Using the IBM PC as a processor, the CS-5 offers mainframe capabilities at the price of a microprocessor. Sophisticated software includes anti-aliasing, hidden line and surface removal and smooth shading. These and other powerful features represent a major breakthrough in efficiency and capability for graphics users.
