    SIGGRAPH 1988

    AED demonstrates the COLORWARE CARDS family of high- performance, board-level graphics products for the VME bus and Micro VAX Q-Bus.They provide 1280 x 1024 resolution with 8-bit planes as well as firmware support for X-window, TEK 4100 and VT100. Highlighting the demonstration, the new 1280 VE product offers enhanced performance derived from a multiprocessor architecture based on the 68030.

    SIGGRAPH 1987

    Advanced Electronics Design will demonstrate the COLORWARE CARDS family of high- performance board-level graphics products for the VME Bus and the MicroVAX Q-Bus. COLORWARE CARDS provide 1280×1024 resolution with 8 bit-planes and drawing speeds of 100k vectors/sec. The products feature TEK 41XX and VT100 compatibility including firmware support for X-Window.

    SIGGRAPH 1986

    AED will exhibit the COLORWARE product line of high-performance color graphics peripherals. For the OEM and end-user, AED provides unparalleled price/performance for the demanding requirements of the scientific, engineering and imaging communities. AED will present cost-effective alternatives for those applications currently utilizing the MicroVAX II from Digital Equipment.

    SIGGRAPH 1984

    Advanced Electronics Design, Inc. (AED), manufacturers of COLORWARETM, will display their full product line of color graphics terminals and recently announced color graphic desk-side workstations. These ergonomically designed products provide high-resolution and price/performance for a broad variety of graphics applications. Demonstrations of VLSI, 2-D drafting, imaging, graphics arts and business graphics will be on exhibit.

    SIGGRAPH 1983

    Advanced Electronics Design (AED), manufacturer of a spectrum of high-performance lowcost color graphics terminals will be debuting the new AED1024 Color Terminal, in addition to their standard AED512, 767 and AEDS11 systems. The AED1024 features viewable resolution of 1024 X 768 within its virtual address space of 1024 X 1024 X 8. A total of 256 simultaneous colors are displayable from a palette of 16.8 million. This feature makes the 1024 well suited for CAD/CAM and graphic arts. AED will be displaying additional enhancements to their current product line.

    SIGGRAPH 1979

    AED manufactures and sells video terminals, disk controllers and power supplies in the Computer Peripherals and Power Systems Divisions, respectively. All products are directed to the mini/ micro computer field. The AED512 Full Color Graphics Terminal on display at SIGGRAPH ’79 features 256 colors, pan, scroll, zoom, full keyboard joystick, and color map t a 5 2 x 480 color monitor, all operating under DMA access to an LSI-11 computer.
