ACT will demonstrate the ACT IITM Ink Jet, desk top color printer that provides brilliant hard copy images on paper, transparencies and reflective paper in 125 colors in 90 seconds. A new High Speed Video Interface that captures and buffers a 1024 x 1024 screen image in 2.7 seconds is to be shown.

Advanced Color Technology, Inc. will demonstrate several ACT IITM low cost, desk top, color graphics printers for transparency and paper. End Users include business, process control, CAD/ CAE, mapping and imaging processing. Over 40 color computers and terminals are interfaced to the ACT II by serial, parallel and video links. T hese include Aydin, Chromatics, DEC, Hewlett Packard, IBM, Lundy, Megatek, Sanders, Tektronix, Vectrix, and many others. Brilliant images are printed on transparency or paper from a pallet of 125 color shades in 90 seconds. The ACT II combines high resolutions and high reliability with ease of use.

Advanced Color Technology will be exhibiting the ACT-1 Color Ink Jet Printer, interfaced to various raster graphic terminals via a video interface and 8-bit parallel port. Advanced Color Technology will be introducing the new ACT-II High Resolution Color Graphics Ink Jet Printer, ACT’S new direct overhead transparency printing capability and new interfacing capability.
