SIGGRAPH 1989
Adage, Inc. shows the Adage 200 color graphics display processor and more from its line of high-performance graphics products. Adage’s products are used worldwide by major companies, government agencies, and universities in such application areas as CAD/CAE/CAM, C3I, oil exploration, medical imaging, graphic arts and, training and simulation.
SIGGRAPH 1986
Adage, Inc., together with its Lexidata Division, designs, manufactures, markets and services interactive computer graphics workstations and display processors. The company’s products are used in a variety of application areas such as Computer- Aided Design/Engineering/Manufacturing (CAD/ CAE/CAM), defense, oil exploration and medical imaging.
SIGGRAPH 1985
Adage 3000 family of high-performance raster display systems offers flexibility and advanced features, including local transformation, hidden surface removal, smooth shading, multiple light sources, transparency, antialiasing and full color rendering. Software packages displayed include SOLID 3000, SEISMIC 3000, IDL2 simulation package and the new FLIGHT 3000.
SIGGRAPH 1984
Adage designs, manufactures, markets and services high-performance, interactive computer graphics workstations. Our expanding family of color raster and vector refresh workstations is used tor a variety of demanding graphics applications, including computer aided design and manufacturing (CAD/CAM), simulation, animation seismic analysis, solids modeling and image processing. Adage customers are served by over 200 sales and service representatives in 61 locations throughout North America and Europe and by a network of distributors around the world. The executive offices and principal facilities of Adage, Inc. are located in Billerica, Massachusetts.
SIGGRAPH 1983
Adage, Inc. will be exhibiting high-performance, interactive Adage 3000 color raster display systems that are used for computer graphics and image processing applications. These Adage color raster systems are configured from a series of standard modules that provide: •High Performance Hardware — microprogram- mable 200 nsec 32-bit processor, 3-D transformation hardware, real-time vector generation, fast and flexible look-up memories. •Large Image Memories — frame buffers (5122 X 8 up to 20482 X 24 standard). •Flexible Display — pan, scroll, zoom, full window and viewport control, variable frame and line rate.
SIGGRAPH 1979
Adage manufactures a range of high speed performance interactive computer graphics displays for attachment to minicomputers or IBM compatible channels (selector or blo’ck multiplexer). There are four models in the 4100 .series (for mini-computers) implementing 2D of full 3D graphics. One model contains a RAM control store which allows the user to develop his own microcode for specific applications. The IBM channel attachment models are: 1) The 4250 which is a plug compatible replacement for the IBM 3250 Graphics System, 2) The 4370 which is a full 3D interactive graphics system designed to give the user the ability to solve complex problems using interactive graphics and the computing power of a large mainframe computer, 3) The 4380 which is a unique combination of a 4250 and a 4370 in one console that is switch selectable between IBM 3250 compatible mode (2D) and full 3D 4370 mode.
