Description:

Two masks face off before an assembly of worried onlookers. A signal is given, and a strange dance begins, a ritual combat. The film is based on choregraphy by Nicolas Vladislav: an evocation of a primordial rite, a study of dance and animation. From an artistic point of view, the film is an attempt to create the feeling of a primordial ritual of fight and sacrifice. From a technical point of view, it is an experiment on the possibilities of motion capture, as choreography and dance are transposed to non-humanoid elements.
