Artist Statement:


    In the beginning, I imagined myself as a self proclaimed starving computer artist creating works of art and wandering the countryside. I was always self conscious about the lack of detail and shading possible with computer controlled plotters when compared to other media like acrylics, oils and watercolor. Nevertheless my audience seemed enthralled, probably because a computer was involved.


Technical Information:


    The images were created using the programming language Fortran. The organic curves were laboriously digitized using a table top with a mouse-like object called a puck or cursor.
